Day 2 of the London 2012 Olympics—Denmark’s Prince Henrik, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, and Princess Benedikte were at the Copper Box to cheer on the Danish Men’s Handball Team. It was a close match throughout but Denmark, a gold medal candidate, came out on top, beating Hungary 27-25.
Queen Margrethe has returned to Denmark for official duties back home but she will return to London on August 3rd.
Denmark’s Princess Benedikte, Prince Henrik, and Queen Margrethe cheered on the Danish women’s handball team as they defeated Sweden 21-18 on Day 1 of the London 2012 Olympics.

Frederiksborg Palace, Denmark
Frederiksborg Palace is located in the middle of Hillerød, Denmark and is the largest Renaissance palace in Scandinavia. It was built as a royal residence for King Christian IV, the oldest parts of the castle dating back to 1560.
